Guest Speakers
Cheryl Donahue, LCCE, IBCLC, Med, HBB has been involved with the Falmouth Hospital's "Women, Infants, Children" program for twenty years, teaching lactation classes, facilitating breastfeeding support groups and offering 24/7 telephone support to breastfeeding mothers. She is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Happiest Baby on the Block Certified Educator, and holds her Bachelor of Arts and her Masters in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Nazarene College.
Tina Toran has been the grants administrator with the Coalition for Children in Falmouth for twenty years. She holds a degree in Women Studies with a minor in English Literature from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Her previous experience includes teaching Family Literacy at Cape Cod Community Collage, teaching at NewHampton Prep School in New Hampton, New Hampshire, and acting as a Creative Consultant for McGraw Hill Higher Education.
Susan MacNeil-Densmor holds a Masters in Social Work from Simmons College. She has experience in teaching, Clinical Supervision, and is currently a Clinical Social Worker on the Upper Cape Team of the Cape and Islands Early Childhood Intervention Program at Cape Cod Child Development.
Dr. Parkinson graduated from the University of Western Ontario, Faculty of Med, London, Ontario, Canada in 1990. He specializes in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the Falmouth Hospital and is the author of Giggle More, Worry Less; A Pediatrician’s Thoughts for New Parents (available through Ingram).
Amy Wyman is the founder and director of Tones in Motion Music Therapy, developmentally appropriate inter-generational music and movement classes. She holds degrees in Special Studies from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Wheelock College. Amy will have everyone movin' and groovin'.
